Environment controls

Ideally you want to dry your herb in 60-70Β° F temperature range and 45-55% humidity.
In a dark place with not direct light hitting the plants and with a little air movement. Here are some tips to help you achieve that using the Canna Dry Tent. The Canna Dry Tents environment is largely dependent on the environment of the room the dry tent is in. You can use ducting with a inline fan from your grow room or grow tent to or from the dry tent to help regulate the temperature and humidity.

When you first hang your plant the buds will have a lot of water in them making for very humid conditions. We recommend the first 3-5 days having all four vent holes open and the roof vent open also

If your tent is in a dark room you can roll up one or both doors. If your room has some light in it you can roll up one door that facing a wall a few inches away from the wall. You can use a fan in the bottom vent to push fresh air in.

Around day 4-6 depending on the environment you tent is in) your buds will of lost a lot of water weight and producing less humid environment. You can start closing vents to try to maintain the ideal environment. Around day 6-13 you tents humidity level may drop below 45%

Bowl With Water

The Last few days of drying when your buds are dry and your stem starts to snap when you bend it if half. If your dry room conditions are below 40% humidity. You can put a bowl of water in the bottom of your tent. That should boost your humidity to a more ideal range.

Bowl With Towel

If you are in a server dry climate you can put a towel or rag in the bowl or pan of water with a riser to hold the towel end up a few inches above the water with the rest of the towel in the water. You may place a small fan in the tent facing the towel or direct the vent with ducting and inline fan towards the towel. Keep an eye on the humidity sensor. Humidity can go up fast but is easy to dial in with less towel showing out of the water or less air hitting the towel or water.
